Missionary Society

The primary purpose of our Missionary Department is to help support 12 missionaries though

World Gospel Mission in Africa, Bolivia, El Salvador, Honduras, Paraguay, Peru, Uganda,

Ukraine and Arizona.  Also Many Waters Mission in New Mexico ministers to various American

Indian tribes overseen by Don and Lynn Cartwright, who grew up as members of Brown Road Community Church.  

Financial support for the missionary work above is accomplished primarily through two rummage sales each year.

 

 

 

 

Weekly Bible Study- Tuesday mornings at 10 am; at BRCC

Rummage Sale twice a year- May & October

Food Pantry -collecting throughout the year for Thanksgiving and Christmas

Prayer Chain -weekly for accidents, illness, etc.

Samaritan's Purse-collecting shoe boxes filled with gifts for children at Christmas

Monthly meetings-the 2nd Thursday of each month

 

Aside from the activities listed above, the Missionary Society also oversees most of the social activities 

and dinners that are hosted by the church.  We're always looking for new workers, who are interested in great

fellowship.
