Our Staff
Assistant Pastor, Jonathan Barker
Pastor Jonathan, along with his wife Allison, serves as our Assistant Pastor. He has served in various ministries since the Barker family started serving at BRCC in 1994. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Ministries from Ohio Christian University in 2005, and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree from Ashland Theological Seminary. Jonathan fills the Pulpit when Pastor Barker is away and oversees the majority of the programming at the church. Allison serves as a children's Sunday School teacher, and is attending Ashland University to complete her degree in Elementary Education. Jonathan and Allison have a one year old son named Wesley. The Barkers have a heart for people and are excited about the work that God has for them in the community of Christ followers.
Praise & Worship Leader, Jennifer Lehman
Jennifer Lehman, a native of the Ashville, Ohio area has been the worship leader at BRCC since February of 2008. She has been leading contemporary congregational worship since 2004, and was part of a contemporary vocal trio from 2000-2005. After spending four years in Nashville, TN, Jennifer felt called back to her home in Central Ohio in 1999, to spend more time in college and pursue her ministerial goals. Jennifer has been involved in vocal and instrumental music since she was seven-years-old. God has placed a burden on her heart to truly be a "worshipping leader" and see the body of believers continue to grow in their expression of worship of Jesus Christ through many areas of music. Jennifer, is a homeschooling mother of three beautiful young daughters, who with her husband Bill, have made BRCC their home and have enjoyed serving in other various ministries around the church.
